Running example - Years ago I decided to hire an expert running coach. I paid $100 to a former Olympic Marathoner for 1 hour of coaching. We became friends in that hour and he coached me
thereafter for free. Nice. More importantly, though, his expert coaching taught me some very
simple but critical truths and insights. Within a year I was asked by Reebok to join their local
running team, went on to post the fastest times of that team, and nearly qualified for the Olympic
